2014 Rose of Tralee Watch Party

Area residents could travel to Ireland for this year’s Rose of Tralee International Festival to witness first-hand who’s selected as the 2014 Rose of Tralee, but the “next-best-thing” could be as close as Kamm’s Corners. P.J. McIntyre’s is hosting a “Watch Party” where locals may enjoy Irish camaraderie and get a real-time view of the final of two nights of the 2014 Rose of Tralee selection. While there, patrons may take advantage of specially priced libations and get to meet Ohio Rose Centre representatives who are planning for the 2015 Ohio Rose selection. It’s a must-see event for young maidens of Irish heritage who have ever aspired to be a part of The Festival along with those who are interested in this time-honored Irish tradition marking its 55th year.

The West Shore Chorale Auditions

The West Shore Chorale is looking for new members for our 2014-15 season. Membership is open to all singers with a strong interest in performing classical choral music. The Chorale is an 80-member chorus that will perform four concerts this year, including a holiday concert in early December and a spring concert in early May. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. at Rocky River Memorial Hall. To reserve an audition time, call 216-373-7773.
