CTC Lunch 'n' Learn Speaker Series
12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
Career Transition Center presents the Lunch ’n’ Learn Speaker Series, a monthly speaker series where you can hear from a member of the business community about topics of interest to job seekers. Bring a lunch. Coffee and cookies will be provided. This month Lori Peters will discuss “Handling Transitions.” Join us on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 12 noon until 1:30 for some learning, sharing and networking.

After School Adventures: Nature Play in May
4:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Get outside and moving in great outdoors with this playful After School Adventure. Make friends and play games while exploring nature and learning about the creatures that live there. You will create your very own games to take home and play with your friends and family!

For children in grades 1-4. Program also occurs 5/18 at the same times. Fee: $40/child (members $35/child). Please register in advance.

NEOPC Q&A Workshop Session
6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
This month NEOPC welcomes Lee Gerber, Dennis Lewis and Tom Jones for their Questions & Answers workshop session. All are welcome to bring questions and topics that are of interest. This workshop session covers:

Basic computer fundamentals for Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10
Security (e.g., Microsoft Security Essentials, AVG anti-virus )
Maintenance (CCleaner & Malwarebytes )
Software (Microsoft Word, Excel )
Wireless (Wi-Fi Devices, streaming TV, Movies, Music)
Tablets, Smartphones, and digital cameras
NEOPC website and forum (how to post & reply)
Decisions about upgrading to Windows 10

Backyard Wonders: Coexisting with Wildlife

Have you ever had a bird nesting in a vent, a nest of bunnies in an unfavorable location or an unwanted guest in your attic? While these situations are frustrating, they can often be avoided by better understanding the animal’s behavior and making minor adjustments to our own. Join us as we explore how to coexist with our backyard wildlife.

For adults and youth ages 10+. Tickets are $7/person. Advance registration is available but not required.
