Astronaut Scott Kelly landed safely back to Earth last March after spending a year aboard the International Space Station. This remarkable feat allowed scientists to study the effects of long-term spaceflight on the human body and mind, paving the way for manned missions to Mars in the future. We will reflect upon the accomplishments of Kelly and examine research that was conducted following his return.
