Westlake Early Childhood PTA Kiddie Kloset Kids Resale
8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
The sale will feature gently used baby items, kids clothing, toys, games, furniture, and maternity clothes. We will again be featuring a BIG item area.
Everyone that pays for early bird admission between 8-9:00 a.m. will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Gymboree gift certificate. The winner will be drawn at 9:15 a.m. and must be present to win.
Admission is $5 for the early-bird preview from 8-9:00 a.m. and $1 for entrance from 9:00 a.m.-noon. Cash sales only. Please, no bills larger than $20. Small bills appreciated at the door.

Quilters' Legacy of Lakewood presents "A Gem of a Show"

Quilters' Legacy service projects include lap quilts for wheelchair bound veterans, pillowcases for women/children shelters and isolette quilts for the NICU at Fairview Hospital.
We will be featuring vendors, raffle quilt & raffle baskets. Along with Westside Art Quilters Exhibit.

Join our resident telescope expert and NASA JPL Solar System Ambassador, Bill Reed, for an evening under the stars. We will begin in the planetarium for an overview of the constellations and planets in the night sky. Weather permitting, we’ll head outdoors for telescope viewing through our 8-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope.
For ages 6 and up. Fee: $8/person.

Bay Theater presents 'War of the Worlds: The Panic Broadcast'

The story examines the legend of the broadcast of the H. G. Wells sci-fi classic “War of the Worlds” by the Mercury Theater Company that starred Orson Welles. It is set ten years later as the WBFR radio ensemble recreates the colorful events surrounding the infamous evening, including the full original broadcast. Complete with vintage commercials and live sound effects, this radio-play-within-a-radio-play is a thrilling homage to the form's golden age and timely reminder of what fear can do to a society.
All seats are general admission and we encourage you to reserve your ticket early.
