5G and You
6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
NEOPC (Northeast Ohio Personal Computers) will be hosting Walter Lesch for this presentation, “5G and You.” 5G means 5th Generation, which is really a nickname for a collection of new mobile telecommunications standards that are being implemented right now. 4G networks gave us HD movie streams, internet telephony and live streaming, in addition to 3D television and cloud computing. Representing a leap forward in speed, capacity, and reliability, come to see what 5G really is and what it will do for you.

Walter’s background is in philosophy, art history and political science; and he has a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from Kent State University. He has been a Training Specialist in Ohio libraries for more than twenty years, and is currently working in that capacity for Rocky River Public Library.

Come at 6:30 for refreshments; meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome; for additional information, go to neopc.org.
