Meeting of Chapter 91 of the Public Employee Retirees Inc. (PERI)
11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Guest speaker will be Curtis Danburg, Senior Director of Communications for the Cleveland Indians. A native of Mentor and a graduate of Bowling Green State University, he has been with the Indians organization for 24 years. Currently a resident of Fairview Park, he will be sharing news and information about the team and the upcoming season. Members are encouraged to wear their Indians gear to the meeting.
PERI, established in 1948, has 60,000 members throughout the state. Chapter 91 includes retirees from the northwestern suburbs surrounding Cleveland. They meet every other month to discuss topics of interest and keep updated on proposed legislation. Public sector retirees are welcome to attend the meetings. Light refreshments are served.

West Shore Antique and History Club Meeting

Paula Slimak will present a program on the collectability and history of antique fans. She will display her collection. Paula Slimak was a political reporter in Cleveland during the '70s, as well as a frequent antique auctioneer on WVIZ/PBS’s auctions.

Rocky River Chamber Music Society Concert - Diamond Brass Quintet

The Rocky River Chamber Music Society is delighted to present a Cleveland all-star brass ensemble in celebration of the Society’s 60th anniversary! The Diamond Brass Quintet is comprised of players who are passionate about brass and have appeared in many local and regional concerts including their popular annual Christmas concert. Diamond Brass Quintet will perform a special commissioned piece by Andrew Rindfleisch as well as works by Johann Sebastian Bach, John Cheetham and Malcolm Arnold. Players will be Amanda Bekeny and Nina Bell, trumpets; Greg Hillis, horn; Whitney Clair, trombone; J.c. Sherman, tuba. In this its 60th anniversary season, the Rocky River Chamber Music Society remains firmly committed to the presentation of concerts for Northeast Ohio audiences at no admission charge.
