Westlake Historical Society's Fall Yard Sale

Village Project Play Date
11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Village Project is excited to announce our first VP Play Date in conjunction with PlayCle in Avon.

This exciting new event is geared to get kids moving and joining in some friendly competition. This family day is sure to please everyone. Attendees will have an opportunity to zip line, rock climb, parkour and participate in a virtual reality experience. This all-day event will have a Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course and a rope climbing competition, just to name a few. PlayCle will also be hosting football-themed contests to commemorate the Cleveland Browns season home opener. The game will be on TVs throughout PlayCle.

There will also be a Dance Party, Dunk Tank and Dessert Food Trucks to add to the enjoyment of supporting our first annual VP Play Date! Attendees will also receive a VP Play Date t-shirt!

Proceeds from this event will enable us to continue our mission to come together as a community of all ages to provide nourishing meals and extended care and service to our neighbors experiencing cancer.

Sound of St. James Concert Series Presents The Cleveland Consort of Voices
4:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Come hear this glorious A Cappella Ensemble sing the music of Brahms, Bach, Mealor, Mouton, Schutz and more in the best Renaissance poliphony. This group, led by award-winning Dr. Steven Plank, draws on the talents of voices from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, the Cleveland Opera, the Cleveland Chamber Chorus and St Paul's Episcopal Choir in Cleveland Heights.

The sumptuous acoustics of of this historic church enhance this unique singing style and beautiful voices.

Light refreshments will follow. The concert is free but a $15 donation to support the performers is encouraged.
