Lady Demons earn national team scholastic award

Westlake is ranked #1 in Ohio for the second consecutive year and fourth nationally, with an overall team GPA of 4.28. The team is coached by Scott Jones.
In addition, five senior players were named All-Ohio Scholastic scholars – Megan Dunlap, Julia Fulton, Julie Laraway, Ally Louis and A.J. Suever.The 2009 National Soccer Coaches Association of America High School Team Academic Awards from Adidas recognizes teams that have a minimum GPA of 3.50 and a first- or second-place finish in league or district play.
