Annual BHS Key Club food and coat drive set for Nov. 4

Bay residents are encouraged to take the time to fill a bag with non-perishable groceries and donate the food, along with coats your family no longer needs, on Thursday, Nov. 4. Simply put them on your porch at 5:30 p.m., turn the porch light on and Bay High School Key Club members will pick them up.

Students will stop at each lit home to collect these items for the annual drive. Food you donate to this annual event will be distributed through the Bay Hunger Center at Bay Presbyterian Church, and coats will be given to the Salvation Army. If your house is missed, please bring items to Bay Presbyterian Church, corner of Lake and Columbia roads, the next day.

If you live on Lake or Wolf roads, please put your bags at the end of the driveway to avoid traffic dangers.

If you’d like to volunteer, contact Bay High School, 617-7400, and tell them you would like to help Bay Kiwanis Club volunteers sort food and coats the students collected.
