Revel in Egyptian culture and philosophy at Unity Hall event

Queen Nefertiti

Unity Hall Presents is hosting an event that will tantalize your curiosity and enlighten you about a fascinating time in Egyptian history – the year 1356 BC.

The young Pharaoh Akhenaten ascends to the throne proclaiming to the world that he has had a vision that there is only one god, the god of light. His story, and that of his wife, Nefertiti, known to be the most beautiful woman of antiquity, will be told in a multi-media presentation in the new venue, Unity Hall, on the campus of Unity Spiritual Center on Friday, March 30, at 7:30 p.m. For more information and tickets ($15) visit www.unityspiritualcenter.com or call 440-835-0400.

This first-ever Egyptian presentation will provide participants an opportunity to learn about the spiritual history and philosophy that began with Akhenaten and Nefertiti. Egyptian poetry, music, slides, photographs, film clips and the extraordinary story and its effect on our world will be presented by Don King, an Egyptologist who has studied the culture for fifty years. This work is from his personal expeditions.

Unity Hall Presents is the cultural arm of Unity Spiritual Center and is located at 23855 Detroit Rd. in Westlake.
