Westlake residents show off creative writing skills in competition

Birchwood School students and Westlake residents Clive Chan, Kavya Ravichandran and Peter Abou Haidar made up half of the Birchwood School eighth-grade team that won second place in the recent Power of the Pen creative writing competition. Using imagination and writing skills, the team bested 14 other middle schools and qualified for the regional competition at the end of the month.
