Lady Demons Volleyball Clinic (Grades 3-6)

Tuesday, April 17-May 22 (6-7 p.m. for grades 3-4; 7-8 p.m. for grades 5-6) – WHS varsity coach Regan Pore introduces her new youth volleyball clinic. The clinic will focus on the basic skills of volleyball including bumping, passing, setting and serving drills to help players gain more experience and confidence in their game. Game situations will also be covered, including rules. Players must bring knee pads.

Golf Lessons

Weather you need to practice and make some small adjustments to your game or don’t know the difference between a driver and an iron, the Westlake Recreation Department has a class for you. We offer beginners' classes as well as our new Fundamentals and Fixes class. Classes are offered at various times of the week, starting April 29. So checkout our website at www.wlrec.org or one of our rec gazettes for more information.

Adult Softball Leagues

Get to the batting cages and start to warm up. The Rec Dept. is accepting teams for its various adult softball leagues. Leagues offered include Sunday Men’s DH, Sunday night coed, M/W Men, Thursday night Men DH and our Friday night Coed DH leagues. The season will start the week of May 6. Team prices vary per league. Individuals may call to be placed on a player list that teams may call upon. For more information please contact Jim Dispirito at 440-617-4420.

Adult Coed Kickball League

The great childhood game is back in form. Tuesday nights will be kickball night in Westlake. Get your friends together and form a team. Entry fee is $175 per team and includes nine games and playoffs. To register your team, or for more information, contact Jim Dispirito at 440-617-4420. Games will begin on May 22.

Adult Coed Sand Volleyball

Time to kick off the shoes and jump into the sand. Westlake’s new sand volleyball league will start on Wednesday, May 23. Matches will be played every Wednesday night. Entry per team is $175 and includes nine matches and playoffs. To register your team, or for more information, contact Jim Dispirito at 440-617-4420.
