Meditation made easy at Unity Spiritual Center

Meditation, meditation, meditation! We are hearing a lot about meditation these days – from medical practitioners, from television programs, from our religious leaders. It sounds like we all should know how to meditate, but many people have never meditated, don't know to meditate and cannot even begin to think about how to start.

Meditation Made Easy may be the answer for those who want to meditate but need some help in getting started. On Tuesday, May 29, from 7-8:30 p.m., Unity Spiritual Center Reverend Fred Wright, himself a Unity minister, brings simplicity and a sense of humor to meditation that makes it easy to understand and practice.

Participants will experience the benefits of taking time to stop and be quiet in their very busy lives. They will learn easy ways to meditate and discover that it is not difficult or mysterious. Taking home the lessons learned in this evening and practicing them will have meditation becoming a natural and important part of every day. It can indeed reduce the stress of daily life! Making it easier will be a CD which will be available for purchase that night ($6.00) to reinforce the lessons of the evening.

Suggested donation is $15, but Unity Spiritual Center events are open to all regardless of their ability to pay. Call Unity Spiritual Center at 440-835-0400 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m.-noon on Fridays to register for Meditation Made Easy on May 29. Unity is located at 23855 Detroit Rd. in Westlake.
