Bay Rockets Athletic Boosters to host Halloween costume party fundraiser Oct. 20

Bay Rockets Athletic Boosters will host a Halloween costume party for adults on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 7-11 p.m. at St. Clarence Church Hall, 30106 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted. Cost of the event is $25 per person and ticket includes heavy appetizers, beer, wine, pop, music and dancing. Event proceeds support Bay High School and Bay Middle School athletic teams and programs.

Bay Rockets Athletic Boosters President Steve Kowalski said, “We decided it would be fun to throw a Halloween party for adults and came up with the tag line, ‘Why should the kids have all the fun?’"

“We hope that community members get into the spirit and challenge each other to come up with some unique and creative costumes,” said Kowalski. “Prizes will be awarded for best costumes in the following categories: best male, female, couple and group,” he said.

The party will feature plenty of festive Halloween decorations along with food, music and dancing throughout the evening. A few select items including professional sports tickets and a golf package will also be highlighted in a live auction.

“We plan to make the party an annual event and want parents and community members to gather their friends together for a fun party that also benefits Bay Schools’ athletic programs,” said Kowalski. “This is an easy way to support our sports teams while celebrating the season!”

To purchase tickets, visit the Rockets Athletic Boosters table at the Bay High School football games, or purchase online at www.bayrockets.org.
