Westlake Porter Public Library's annual book sale, Feb. 6-10

The Friends of Porter Public Library will be holding their annual book sale this February. We will have loads of fiction, non-fiction, children's books, DVDs and books on CD. Once again, we will have three rooms filled with thousands of items that should meet the needs of everyone.

The sale starts with our preview on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 4-8 p.m., just for members of Friends. You can sign up for a membership that day to get a first look at our treasures. The regular sale starts on Feb. 7 from 9:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. and again on Feb. 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Then on Saturday, Feb. 9, the very popular half-price sale will run from 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Our $2 Bag Sale will be held on Sunday, Feb. 10 from 1:15-4:30 p.m. See how many books you can fit into a bag.

There will also be a silent auction of some very special items, including books about the history of Cleveland, beautiful art books, and other unique items that have been donated to our sale. The auction items will be on display in the lobby of the library starting on Jan. 14. Bids will be accepted until 3 p.m. on Feb. 10.
