Christian musician jam night March 23

Are you a Christian musician? Do you love to hear God’s praise? Let's come together to share the joy of the Lord through music. My mother use to say, "Music is the universal language." It is obvious that music is a prominent means of pleasure for God as the Psalms is the largest book of the Bible and musical instruments, songs and singing is mentioned throughout the Bible.

So the idea for Jam Night is one of bringing musicians together for an enjoyable experience of praise to God. This comes from the heart of Jeff Wilkins, whose band, Last Man Standing, plays in the area and who is also a member of the 24/7 Worship Band at CrossPointe Community.

You may be looking for a wholesome, free family entertainment opportunity! Please come join the 24/7 Worship Band at CrossPointe Community, 1800 Columbia Rd., Westlake, on Saturday, March 23, for our first Christian Musician Jam Night, 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

For solo musicians or groups, we provide drums, amps and P.A. with up to four vocal mics. Drummers may want to bring your own kick and snare. You provide up to three Christian-themed songs per performance, of any genre. This is a FREE event. So bring some friends and be heard!! Please send questions or RSVP to Jeff at oldrocksinger@yahoo.com.

I pastor CrossPointe Community. Camille and I came to Westlake, April 2001. We are convinced of God's calling to the Westlake and surrounding communities. We are grateful for living in such a beautiful place with wonderful people. We think Cleveland gets a bad rap. Our greatest joy is passionately loving God and genuinely loving people. Through Families Anonymous which meets at CrossPointe, Sundays at 5:30 PM, lives of parents and adult children are experiencing much needed support with a positive impact and real life change.
