Irish "Rose" applications accepted now through March 21

Westlake’s Northern Ohio Rose Centre is accepting applications from eligible young women of Irish ancestry wishing to compete for the title of the 2013 Northern Ohio Rose. This year’s Northern Ohio Rose Selection Celebration will take place at LaCentre on April 19.

The winner will be referred to as the “Ohio Rose” when she travels to the Rose of Tralee International Festival’s “Regional Festival” in Portlaoise, Ireland, in late May. Once there, she will vie for an opportunity to advance to the International Festival held in Tralee in August. Her local reign will continue throughout the year.

The application deadline is March 21 or until the limit of 25 confirmed contestants is met. Requests for the 2013 Northern Ohio Rose application (including eligibility requirements) as well as the 2013 Northern Ohio Rose contestant sponsorship application form (for any club, business or organization interested in being matched with or sponsoring a contestant) may be emailed to to inquiries@northernohiorose.com.
