Habitat for Humanity donation drop-off at BVPD May 4

Volunteers help to load donated items into Habitat for Humanity trucks last year. The trucks will return to Bay Village to collect donations on May 4.

The Bay Village Green Team has arranged a local drop-off for Habitat for Humanity on Saturday, May 4, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Bay Village Police Department parking lot, 28000 Wolf Road. You can donate any usable household items, both indoor and outdoor items. Just about anything from your home is accepted as long as it is in good, workable condition.

Items Accepted: Furniture (indoor or outdoor), building supplies (windows, doors, kitchen and bath cabinets, lighting fixtures, sinks, tubs, showers, plumbing/electric/HVAC items, lumber, tile, full rolls of wallpaper), tools (hand, power, yard), landscaping items, and MORE. Items must be in good, usable condition. Items can be as small as cabinet handles or as large as a refrigerator.

Items NOT Accepted: Mattresses, paint, clothing

You can also drop off items directly at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, located at 2110 W. 110th St., Cleveland, Tuesdays through Fridays from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

The donations are prepared for sale to the public.
