Springtime is funtime at the Westlake Rec!

Family Fishing Derby (ages 12 and under) – Saturday, May 11 (9 a.m.-noon) – Enjoy a morning of fishing at the Westlake Recreation Center’s lake. The lake is stocked with plenty of bass, channel catfish, crappie, trout and blue gill. Please bring your own equipment. Parent/guardian is required; however there is no cost for the adult. Bait, while supplies last, and prizes will be provided. Must be registered in order to receive bait and prizes. Cost: $10 per child.

Princess & Superhero Party (ages 6 and under) – Friday, May 17 (10 a.m.-noon) – Join us for our first ever Princess and Superhero party. There will be inflatables, games and light refreshments. Come dressed as your favorite princess or superhero. Pre-registration is required. Cost: free for members, $5 for non-members.

Learn-to-Swim Lessons at Peterson Pool
The following dates will be observed concerning learn to swim registrations:
Saturday, May 4: In-person registration for Westlake residents and Recreation Center members only
Monday, May 6: Online registration begins for Westlake residents and Recreation Center members only
Wednesday, May 8: In-person registration for non-residents beginning at 6 p.m.
Friday, May 10: Open registration for both in-person and online.
*Register for one swim lesson and receive a $10 discount on a second registration during the same transaction.

Peterson Pool Passes
Season passes may now be purchased at the Westlake Recreation Center. Early-bird pricing is in effect until May 24. Regular pricing in effect starting May 25. The pool will open on May 25 at 11 a.m. Please check out our rec gazette online or in person for pricing details.

Bocce Leagues
The Westlake Recreation Department is introducing Adult Bocce Leagues. Teams of 4 may register at the Recreation Department. Team entry fee is $100 and the matches will be played on Tuesday nights at the Community Services building next to Meadowood Golf Course. Season begins on May 28.
