The Huntington Playhouse season continues with “9 to 5: The Musical” running now through August 4. Pushed to the boiling point, three female co-workers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. They conspire to take control of their company and learn there's nothing they can't do – even in a man's world. Set in the late 1970s and based on the hit 1980 movie, "9 to 5: The Musical" is the hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era set to the music and lyrics of Dolly Parton.
Performances are on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. with one Sunday matinee on August 4 at 2 p.m. There is no performance on Saturday, August 3, due to a Cleveland Metroparks beach event.
Opening on August 15 will be the comedy “Bell, Book & Candle” which is the story of a witch who falls in love with a mortal.
The Huntington Playhouse box office, 440-871-8333, is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 1-5 p.m.
Huntington Playhouse is located at 28601 Lake Road in Bay Village and is an licensed affiliate of the Cleveland Metroparks.
