Upcoming programs at the Bay Village Branch Library

It’s hard to believe that it’s almost August, and you know how fast THAT month goes! Students, now is the time to be reading your school summer book assignments. Pick them up, or request them now so you’ll have time to finish them. There is always a last-minute rush for the books, and you don’t want to take the chance of the title you need not being available.

There are several programs planned for all ages to round out the summer. Please join us to be entertained and informed, and choose a book to take home. Storytimes are still going on through the end of the month, and the Reading Game ends on August 3. So far our readers have completed around 5,000 hours of reading toward the adoption of the woodchuck at the Nature Center.

Don’t stop now – we still need your hours to add to the total. Everyone has been doing a lot of reading, so keep it up. Take one month off and you’ll find yourself doing the Summer Slide and you really don’t want to do that. Be equipped to begin the new school year in August with your reading skills intact and maybe even advanced!
