Unity Spiritual Center an oasis of self-healing
Have you ever felt there is too much chaos in the world, and wished you could make the world less so? It's very possible you can, and it may begin very close to home, meaning with yourself. Becoming more peace-filled, less frenzied, less hectic, beginning with the person in the bathroom mirror, can truly add peace to us and to the world.
Often anger, even self-hate or doubt can hide deeply and hold securely, leading us to live lives that are less serene than we would desire. Repairing old hurts frees you up to be more creative, happier, healthier, consequently contributing this harmony to those close to you, therefore expanding it into the world.
Healing is based on the fundamental belief that the body is truly self-repairing. How does one self-repair? There are many ways to heal and be healed in today's choice-filled world. Unity Spiritual Center offers many opportunities. Some like drum circles, many enjoy our Sunday church message and music, or others value meditation.
Some focus more on yoga, others use Reiki, while still others may take a leisurely walk on our 90-foot labyrinth and commune with nature. You don't often, if ever, see a nature-lover punching a tree. The gift of nature is powerful for the chaotic psyche. Do you recall ever seeing a Yogi angry and cursing while meditating? There are many gifts best given to oneself.
Pranic Healing is just one of those gifts. Did you ever think or wish that you could help alleviate or hasten the healing of an illness for yourself or others? Ever look at your hands and wish that they could be used to alleviate suffering? Everyone has the innate ability to heal and relieve pain, teaches Grand Master Choa Kok Sui, modern founder of Pranic Healing. Pranic Healing is best defined as a simple yet powerful healing technique that uses no tools, no touch, but utilizes Prana or Chi energy to heal ailments.
Breathing exercises to refresh and recharge the body and the emotions along with the “Meditation on Twin Hearts” is only one of the experiences you receive when you attend the Pranic Healing Clinic the first Wednesday of the month at Unity Spiritual Center in Westlake. You won't want to miss out on the truly transformative meditation which, while working on your physical, mental and spiritual level, also heals our world.
Pranic Healing sessions are also available on a first come, first serve basis. The exercises and meditation begin at 7:15 p.m. and you won’t want to miss that. Healing sessions begin at 8 and 8:30 p.m. A financial love offering for this wonderful opportunity is appreciated, but no one is turned away for lack of funds.
