Women's networking group sees growth going into 2014
Women in business in Westlake and Bay Village are finding an answer for building their businesses when they discover the Westside Professional Women's Connection, and WPWC is growing as a result.
The group, which is over 10 years old, has been meeting in the Westlake/Bay Village area for years, and has been meeting at The Copper Cup on Dover Center Road for many months now. With many networking groups finding their membership declining for many reasons, WPWC is growing.
Responsive to all members, this diverse group really listens to its members, and its guests, about everything from the food that is served – and Chef Joe Dubbs listens, too, to provide a buffet luncheon that appeals to all appetites – to the activities of the monthly luncheon. Recently, valuable networking time has been expanded so that all attendees really have a chance to get to know other business people before they ever leave their first luncheon. It tends to bring guests back to become members!
WPWC is different in many ways – you do not have to RSVP so that you can attend when you discover that a last-minute commitment is rescheduled allowing you to appear at the WPWC monthly luncheon which is held the third Tuesday of each month from 11:30-1:30. In addition, the luncheon cost for members is $15 and $20 for guests (cash or checks) compared to other groups charging significantly more! Not only is time important but also money is important!
The group welcomes any woman who is "in business." Many of the members are entrepreneurial, but there are also corporate members.
