Spring into Westlake Kiwanis' pancake breakfast

Kiwanian Shamus Cusik flips the flapjacks at last year's pancake breakfast.

The Westlake Kiwanis will hold their spring pancake breakfast  on Sunday, April 6. The breakfast will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Westlake High School cafeteria, 27830 Hilliard Blvd.

Breakfast includes all the pancakes you can eat! Plus sausage, orange juice, milk, coffee and tea. Tickets are $6. Children six and under eat for free. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to Emily's Rainbow Fund benefiting pediatric cancer research at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital.

The rest of the proceeds will go to promote various causes throughout the Westlake community such as holiday food baskets for the disadvantaged, student scholarships, Westlake Relays, “Salute to Excellence” – a student recognition program, the Westlake High School Key Club, Builders Club, and Relay for Life.
