Upcoming programs at the Bay Village Branch Library

Spring weather is taking its time arriving, but we’re sure ready for it! Remember that toys are available through the Toy Library to help you banish that lingering cabin fever and get everyone through these last cold days. Now is the time to check out gardening books, and learn some spring cleaning tips. Garage sale season is coming up, so check out a book on de-cluttering and organization!

There are many new books and displays to browse when you stop in, and be sure to ask us if you need a recommendation for a good read. Pick up some sports tips whether you’re a player, coach, or spectator. We’ll have some special activities going on all day on April 4 – the Indians’ home opener. Come and enjoy the fun! If you’re a homeschool family, please stop in at the children’s desk and share your contact information with us. We will pass it on to the library’s main youth department, who are willing to assist and support you in your educational goals for your children.

Tuesday, April 8 (10 a.m.) FAB FIFTIES, CLEVELAND STYLE – Re-live 1954, the year the Indians, Browns, and Barons are all in the championships, Marilyn Monroe is married, and poodle skirts are all the rage. Join us as the Western Reserve Historical Society shares memories of Cleveland from 1954 with hands-on souvenirs.
