Charles Ramsey, the neighbor who helped rescue three young women from Ariel Castro in Cleveland and became an overnight sensation, will appear at Barnes & Noble Booksellers; 198 Crocker Park Blvd. in Westlake to autograph copies of his new book, “Dead Giveaway.” The event is scheduled for Sunday, May 4, from 1-3 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

In the book "Dead Giveaway" (Gray & Co., $14.95, paperback), Charles Ramsey gives an account of his life before, during and after the dramatic rescue of three kidnapped women in Cleveland on May 6, 2013.
