Pretty pots brighten seniors' day

The residents of the Knickerbocker Apartments got a very nice surprise Monday, April 14, when children and staff from Kiddie Kollege brought an early spring to the senior citiizens who live there. The little ones with help from their staff made pretty flower pots out of old soup cans.

The cans were washed and dried, then painted blue or pink. Potting soil was added to the now-pretty pots. Real pansies were planted in the pots, then the children glued pink or blue ears and little noses on the cans.

The pretty bunny pots were placed at the apartment door of each senior. These thoughtful gifts were were appreciated by all during this special season. Thank you children and staff from Kiddie Kollege.
