Crocker Park to transform into outdoor art exhibit June 14-15
Festival promoter Howard Alan Events, producer of many award-winning juried art fairs throughout the country, has taken over the reigns as coordinator of the Crocker Park Fine Art Festival, slated for June 14 and 15, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This two-day juried event will transform Crocker Park into an outdoor gallery style art exhibit. Festival patrons can expect to see bold and vibrant paintings, contemporary and whimsical art, life-size sculptures, photography, handcrafted jewelry and much more. Admission is free and open to the public.
The festival will showcase the finest work of more than 100 leading artists and crafters in the country and will appeal to people of all ages including families, art and craft enthusiasts, serious collectors looking for new and emerging talent, as well as the casual shopper interested in unique gift items. All exhibitors will be on site for the duration of the show.
Art enthusiasts will have the opportunity to engage the artists and crafters to gain a better understanding of their work and inspiration as they stroll through the vast array of quality original art and craft items on display and for sale. They will also be able to register to win the free art giveaway featuring the work of participating artist Maria Reyes Jones. The prize, an 18”x24” reproduction of her original painting, “Poppies in Spiral Vase”, will be on display at her booth, where registration will also take place. No purchase will be necessary to participate and the winner will be announced during the final hour of the festival.
Festival patrons visiting the booths of show sponsors WindowPRO and Renewal by Anderson will have the opportunity to win $10,000 in windows and doors from each company. There is no fee required to register for either giveaway.
