Upcoming programs at the Bay Village Branch Library

The Summer Reading Game has started at the Bay Village Library and we’re glad so many patrons have signed up already! You’re not registered yet? Stop in soon and we’ll get you started – it’s easy! Reading is a treasure – let it take you someplace new this summer. Stop in and see the new displays that are up around the different departments. You’re sure to find exactly what you’re looking for – and more!

Storytimes have started again; please check the flyer or our website for dates and times. A few of them have a new start time of 9:30 a.m., which gives busy parents a chance to attend before getting on with their day. Make a stop at the library a priority this summer – there’s a lot going on! Please join us for these programs and specials:

Monday, June 16 (7 p.m.) EXPLORING SPIRITUALITY – Kristina Austin from The Gathering Place will discuss how relaxation and guided imagery can enhance spiritual growth for anyone coping with cancer.

Monday, June 16 (11 a.m.) DARING TO BE DUMBO – For all ages. Dancing Wheels presents a reimagining of the original story that is set in a contemporary junior high school where Dumbo is now a 13-year-old girl who is bullied. The original themes of triumph over adversity still ring through at the core of this new program.

Please register online at cuyahogalibrary.org, by calling 871-6392, or when you stop in for a visit at 502 Cahoon Road. We’ll see you soon!
