Probing human genetics the topic of fall discussion group

Please join our Case Western Reserve University book discussion group this fall as we welcome back Joseph Konen as our leader to investigate the evolution of human genetics on the macro and micro scale. This course will be a chance to understand more about the way genetics impacts our health and healing. We will be using as our guide "The Violinist's Thumb: And Other Lost Tales of Love, War, and Genius, as Written by Our Genetic Code" by Sam Kean.

We look forward to meeting new people and the insights they bring. These classes are sponsored by Siegal Lifelong Learning Program at Case Western Reserve University. The eight-week session will be held Mondays from 10-11:30 a.m. beginning Sept. 22. Please note our new meeting location is Bay United Methodist Church, 29931 Lake Road. Advance registration together with payment of the course fee of $75 is required and must be received prior to the start of class. For more information on this class or to register, call Marianne at 440-808-0076 or Beverly at 440-835-2917.
