Teen girls can learn how to make a difference at Westlake Porter Public Library

Teenage girls entering grades 6 through 12 can learn how to make a difference in the world at Westlake Porter Public Library’s “Become a Change-Maker” on Monday, July 21, from 10 a.m.-noon.

The workshop will be presented by Alison Tanker, the founder of Tigress, which is dedicated to empowering young women to become change-makers through entrepreneurship and the creative arts. Through interactive discussions and activities attendees will identify how they can make a difference in the world, and will leave with a personal strengths assessment. In addition, they will learn to become confident, passionate, creative leaders.

Registration opens on July 14. To register, please call 440-250-5471 or visit signup.westlakelibrary.org:8080.
