In Bay, East meets West in Aug. 26 wards meeting

Last fall, as I was preparing to run for City Council, Ward 1, I received several questions from residents regarding a resumption of my ward meetings I held with constituents.

Tom Henderson, from Ward 4, also received similar requests from folks in his ward. He said that he would, indeed, like to meet with Ward 4 residents if the November election seat he was campaigning for resulted in a win. It did.

Well, both Tom and I are now in our ward seats and feel that this August would be a perfect time to hold a joint Wards 1 and 4 meeting that would mirror efforts of the early years of my terms on Council for Ward 1 residents.

Councilman Henderson and I would like to invite residents to attend our joint Wards 1 and 4 meeting where East meets West. We have scheduled and planned a meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 7 p.m. in the Community House in Cahoon Memorial Park.

Come and bring a neighbor – we'll try hard to bring some interesting facts, news and ideas. We'll furnish some cold water and maybe lemonade and treats. Remember, there's no air-conditioning in the Community House. When you show up the night will be complete.

Please plan on spending your early evening with Henderson and Tadych for a change of pace this summer. We'll look forward to it! See you at 7 p.m. on the Aug. 26!

Dave Tadych

David L. Tadych, Ward 1 Councilman City of Bay Village, Chairman of Bay's Bicentennial Committee 2010, 38 year resident
