It's time to secure your tickets to BAYarts' Moondance

BAYarts is decorated with thousands of twinkle lights for Moondance, its annual fundraising party. This year's event will be Sept. 13.

It'll be the perfect night for a Moondance, but only if you have tickets to the event. On Sept. 13, BAYarts will host their annual Moondance event. Tickets are now on sale, and you are encouraged to purchase yours as soon as you know you'll be attending. BAYarts' Executive Director, Nancy Heaton, says the event always sells out and tickets are not for sale at the door.

The event hosts 10 of your favorite local eateries, so you'll be well fed. There will also be open bars with Great Lakes beer and Euro Fine Wines, as well as music by Joe Bell and the Swing Lizards. My personal favorite addition to the night? The glowing twinkle lights, of course. Together, all of these components help create the dreamlike atmosphere that makes this a buzzworthy event.

The evening occurs on the BAYarts campus, a portion of the Cleveland Metroparks, with Lake Erie just across the way, and the beach only a gentle sloping step further. With the historic buildings and the infamous red caboose also on the property, there's not many other places that carry such vast amounts of honest-to-goodness charm.

Many companies will buy tables for the event to take their employees out for a night and foster camaraderie, and just as many individual couples and local residents attend the festivities because it's such a large West Side event. Many people who don't live in the Cleveland area don't understand how vibrant our corner of Ohio is. However, the flaw in that kind of misguided thought surfaces easily when you look at an event like Moondance.

Don't miss your chance to experience this special event. You can purchase Moondance tickets at bayarts.net, or call BAYarts at 440-871-6543.

If your company is interested in contributing as a sponsor for the silent auction, please email: mary@bayarts.net.
