Learn how to research your family tree
Westlake Porter Public Library is again offering beginning genealogists opportunities to learn how to research their family trees on Friday, Sept. 19, from 2-4 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 18, from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
In Beginning Genealogy, attendees will learn how to research their family history, including where to begin, how to research, and what resources are available and where to find them. Attendees are encouraged to bring along names and dates for hands-on research.
