Volunteers and homes are being sought for yard clean-up on Nov. 1

Fall is such a spectacularly beautiful season in leafy Bay Village, and we’re certainly enjoying the peak of it right now. But soon, those beautiful leaves will start piling up in yards around town. The Village Project is offering to rake those leaves, as well as provide assistance with weeding, mulching and other general yard work in exchange for donations to help them continue their mission.

Village Project is a non-profit, multi-generational community program that provides nourishing meals and extended care and services to our neighbors experiencing cancer.

The Yard Clean-up will be held on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 12-3 p.m. for homes in Bay Village only. Suggested donations are $30 and up, with donations in excess of $30 qualifying as tax-deductible. If you would like to get your home on the list for yard clean-up, please give us a call by Oct. 28 to reserve your spot at 440-348-9401.

Are you looking to get more involved in the community? The Village Project is also seeking volunteers to provide raking and lawn-clean up services on Nov. 1. If you would like to help with this worthwhile project, please email info@ourvillageproject.com or call 440-348-9401.
