Band Spooktacular Success!

The second annual Bay Village Community Band Spooktacular was held on Oct. 22. The Middle School cafetorium was filled to capacity with ghosts, goblins, and their parents, who enjoyed a program of haunted musical favorites and theme songs from costumed heroes. Concert-goers were surprised by an appearance from the Energizer Bunny.
The Bay Village Community Band would like to thank Energizer, Giant Eagle, Seven Layers Bakeshoppe and Heinen’s for sponsoring the refreshments and giveaways. Raffle and costume contest prizes were provided by Energizer, Village Bicycle Cooperative, Bay Lanes, Seven Layers Bakeshoppe, Beck Center for the Arts and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.
Proceeds from the raffle and donation box will go toward music programming for the 2015 season. The next Bay Village Community Band concerts will take place on Nov. 5 (Salute to Veterans) and Dec. 17 (Yuletide Celebration) at 7:30 p.m. at Bay Middle School.
