Kindergarten students discover Morocco

The kindergarten children at Westshore Montessori School learned about a place in the world where deserts and mountains meet and where a child might easily find a camel to ride. A parent in the class of Mrs. Laskey and Miss Monica came to share her handicrafts and customs and of her cultural heritage. We explored the geography and traditions of this country of northern Africa. Everyone had a delicious mandarin orange, the biggest crop of Morocco!
