Westlake's annual Easter Egg Hunt set for March 28

Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny will be on hand at the annual Easter Egg Hunt, March 28 at the Westlake Rec Center.

Spring is in the air, Easter is fast approaching and both will be celebrated at the Westlake Town Criers' Annual Easter Egg Hunt. This year the event will be held on Saturday, March 28, at the playground in front of the Westlake Recreation Center, 28955 Hilliard Blvd. This is a free event for children age 10 and younger.

Promptly at 1 p.m., children ages 4 to 6 will take off on a scramble for wrapped candy and in search for special eggs that are redeemable for prizes. Another scramble for children ages 7 to 10 will be held in the same area at 1:30 p.m.

Simultaneously there is a non-competitive egg hunt for children 3 and under.

Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny will be passing out candy and will be available for pictures. There will also be face painting and refreshments hosted by the members of Westlake High School's National Honor Society. There also will be a raffle for large stuffed bunnies.

There is no charge for the event and a good time is had by all. Please come early as parking is limited.
