Bay Days fireworks fund kicks off fundraiser
The Bay Days fireworks fund committee continues to seek funding for the city's Fourth of July display. The cost of the annual fireworks display is $11,000.
In addition to sponsorships from Sunnyside Automotive Group and the Westlake | Bay Village Observer, the committee will offer raffle tickets for one-of-a-kind prizes.
Freedom Boat Club will once again offer a one-year membership in the club, a prize valued at $8,000. The winner raffle ticketholder will have unlimited use of a fleet of boats at all club locations, which includes the Rocky River, Port Clinton and Catawba. The membership also includes reciprocal use of boats at any of the club’s 75 other locations nationwide. The club takes care of all maintenance costs, except fuel.
The committee is seeking donors for a second raffle prize.
Raffle tickets cost $25 each, or five for $100, and may be purchased using this form (pdf).
Limited-edition Bay Village T-shirts are available at city hall, with all proceeds benefitting the fireworks fund.
Tax-deductible donations can also be made through the Bay Village Foundation website, thebayvillagefoundation.org.
