Blessings from Mother Meera

Mother Meera will offer spiritual blessings April 20 at Unity in Westlake.

Mother Meera returns to Cleveland on Monday, April 20. She will be in Westlake, at Unity Spiritual Center giving Blessings/Darshans at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Darshan is the bestowal of love, light and grace, given in complete silence. No long lectures or wordy sermons here. This sacred, silent program is free, but reservations are required.

It is not every day one is offered the opportunity to meet an Avatar. Mother Meera explains that as an Avatar, people of all faiths can receive help from her. Her power and her purpose are Divine, "to help humans, and to make them happy, peaceful, harmonious, contented and loving." She believes that "happiness and spiritual growth are connected." Who among us would say no to more happiness or contentment?

We've heard it said that the eyes are the windows to the soul, and each attending will move forward from their seat in Unity Hall to Mother Meera singly. She will look deeply into your eyes. It will be a silent one-to-one interaction. With your head held gently in her fingers, she will search your soul-filled eyes, untie knots and obstacles, and search for where her blessings will be most beneficial.

Here are some guidelines for Mother Meera's Darshan, that will help things go smoothly. After making your reservation, print it and bring it to Unity on April 20. Arrive early. Turn off cell phones before entering the building. Come with clean hair. During Darshan, wear clean socks or soft slippers; your shoes will be left under your seat. Be ready to kneel for a short time; if you can't kneel, a chair will be provided. Attendees should be able to sit quietly for two to three hours. As Mother Meera says, "When people have a silent mind, they will receive more."

Mother Meera was born in South India, and currently lives in a small German village. She travels extensively, bestowing her Darshan, always for free. She has opened a school for children at her Ashram in India. Classes are taught in English or Telegu to children who would not have been able to receive an education if it weren't for her school.
