Run Emily's Run, then eat pancakes at Westlake Kiwanis breakfast

Kiwanis Aktion Club members hand out fruit and water to runners of last year's Emily's Rainbow Run.

The Westlake Kiwanis will hold their spring pancake breakfast on Sunday, April 19, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., in the Westlake High School cafeteria, 27830 Hilliard Blvd.

Breakfast includes all the pancakes you can eat! Plus sausage, orange juice, milk, coffee and tea. Tickets are $6. Children six and under eat for free. The breakfast will be held in conjunction with Emily's Run benefitting Emily's Rainbow Fund for pediatric cancer research at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. Tickets for those participating in the run, their family and volunteers will be $5.

Corporate sponsorships are available for $50. The sponsor receives 10 tickets for the breakfast and will have their business advertised in a slide show during the breakfast. For a corporate sponsorship please contact Norm Resko at 440-829-5871.

The rest of the proceeds will go to promote various causes throughout the Westlake community such as holiday food baskets for the disadvantaged, student scholarships, Westlake Relays, “Salute to Excellence” – a student recognition program for community service, the Westlake High School Key Club, Builders Club, and Relay for Life.
