A celebration of nonagenarians and beyond

The Westlake Women's Club recently joined forces with the Westlake Center for Community Services to honor our residents who are 90 years old and then some! The birthday celebration took place at the Westlake Recreation Center and it included brunch, birthday cake and a formal recognition of all honorees by Mayor Dennis Clough who presented them with proclamations.

Papparazzi were plentiful as there were so many picture-worthy moments. About 100 guests enjoyed the event. Some were residents of our local assisted living facilities: Arden Courts, Devon Oaks, Our House and Brighton Gardens, along with one-third of the honorees who live independently. Pianist Jack Hogue provided entertainment. The oldest attendee was 103!
