Kiwanis Memorial Day Parade a Westlake tradition

Westlake Kiwanian Bob Clancy addresses the crowd during last year's Memorial Day services in Clague Park.

A continuing Westlake tradition, the Kiwanis Memorial Day Parade, takes place on Monday, May 25. Come out and line the parade route along Hilliard Boulevard and enjoy the parade, which starts at 10 a.m. in front of Westlake Christian Church and terminates in Clague Park at the Gazebo for the Memorial Day services.

Please come and honor those citizens of Westlake who gave their all in wars from the Civil War to Iraq and Afghanistan. We owe our freedom to these individuals who left their lives on battlefields around the world. In respect for this solemn occasion the Westlake Kiwanis requests that participants refrain from throwing candy during the parade.
