The Bay Men's Club recently awarded four $1,000 scholarships to four very deserving Bay High seniors.

The oldest civic organization in the city, the Bay Men's Club holds a variety of fundraisers to raise the moneys for these scholarships.

The recipeints are Molly Klonk, Piotr Kotowski, Andrea Bliscek and Lily Pattyn. Klonk plans to major in art history at the University of Dayton; Kotowski plans to major in accounting at Miami University; Bliscek plans to study music and psychology at Cleveland State University; and Pattyn plans to study middle childhood education at Baldwin Wallace University.

"Each winner met our criteria of need, character, scholastic achievement and leadership qualities," scholarship chairperson John Stanton said. "We are pleased and honored to present these fine young students with seed money for their futures."
