The Bay Village Dwyer Center "Sole Mates" were the winners of the St. John Medical Center Walking Challenge, beating out the Avon and North Ridgeville senior centers.

Not only did the Bay Village seniors log the most steps during the six-week challenge, but also saw the greatest results in weight loss and cholesterol reduction, as well as most steps by an individual.

The three centers combined walked 13,697,131 steps (which equals 6,848 miles!), 133 pounds lost and a drop in cholesterol of 657 points.

The Sole Mates are looking forward to another healthy competition next year!
