BVEF to hold annual fundraiser Jan. 31

The Bay Village Education Foundation is ready to set the stage for the finest fundraising event year for the Bay schools. Each year, the foundation hosts their “Creating Opportunities” event at Arrabiata’s Italian Restaurant in Bay Village to assist in the funding of annual grant awards to many teachers that are searching for the means to give wings to their various meaningful, innovative or creative classroom ideas.

Funds raised at this event are also often dedicated to helping to support other separate special grants, such as those that inspire leadership, studying abroad and special education support. Therefore, this tremendous night encompasses the idea of “Creating Opportunities” on several different levels for all students of the Bay Village City School District as a whole or individually.

This year’s event promises nothing less. The 2016 fundraiser is set for Sunday, Jan. 31, from 5-8 p.m. With a full spread of a delectable Italian buffet filled with several options and a delicious dessert assortment, philanthropists are assured to be satisfied with an unforgettable time to benefit the future of Bay Village students. An open bar is offered in addition your event ticket.

Many door prizes, along with several spectacular one-of-a-kind silent auction items, create a special excitement for the cause that is infectious throughout the night and never disappoints. These unique prize offerings can be accredited to generous sponsorships and donations from community businesses and other corporations that wish to lend a hand in this exceptional cause for learning. Also, attendees can enjoy casual or business conversation with friends and many different members of the community (teachers, administrators, family friends, etc.) in family-style seating while being entertained by the night’s agenda.
