April events at Tri-C Westshore and Corporate College

Cuyahoga Community College is offering many programs in Westlake this April. All events are free and occur at either the Tri-C Westshore Campus (31001 Clemens Road) or at Tri-C Corporate College West (25425 Center Ridge Road). Please be sure to check the location in each description.

Tuesday, April 5 (4-6:30 p.m.) RN-to-BSN Transfer Fair – Tri-C nursing students and local RNs can learn about transferring to a four-year college to complete a BSN degree. Thursday, April 7 (12:30-1:30 p.m) This is Your Brain on Donuts: How the Food We Eat Rewires Our Brain – Part of the Learning for Life Brown Bag Lunch Series, this program will explore the sensory and metabolic characteristics of a food that make it more likely to act like a drug in the brain. Thursday, April 7 (6-7:30 p.m.) The History of Women in Medicine – The first program in a new speaker series focused on women in science and technology. Thursday, April 14 (6-7:30 p.m.) Scientist ≠ Man: A Candid Discussion – The second session of Tri-C’s Women in Science and Technology speaker series. Tuesday, April 19 (9-11 a.m.) The Ace That Interview Workshop  – Improve your interviewing skills and gain behind-the-scenes insight into the interview process. Saturday, April 23 (10 a.m.-2 p.m.) Westshore Has Gone to the NERDs! – Discover high-quality, accessible and affordable education at Tri-C during our spring community open house. Learn about academic options, tour the campus and participate in NERDs (Notable Educational Resource Demonstrations). Demos will include a hands-on sheep brain dissection, neuroplasticity, the physics of a concussion, 3D printing and more.
