Rose Hill Museum reopens with an exhibit of vintage fashions
Vintage fashions from Rose Hill Museum’s extensive collection will be the highlight of a new exhibit when the museum reopens for the season on April 10. The elegant fashions date from 1818 to 1950.
“The fashions are fun for all to see up close and in a unique setting,” said Janet Zvara, museum director. “This exhibit is sure to evoke fond memories of times gone by.”
A second exhibit titled, “And Don’t Throw the Baby Out with the Bath Water,” centers around a collection of antique dolls, including a 1930s rare German Kistner doll.
Rose Hill Museum, located at the corner of Lake and Cahoon roads in Bay Village, is open on Sundays from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., April through December, free of charge. Group tours for 10 or more can be arranged by appointment, for a small fee. Phone 440-871-7338.
