Bay Village Garden Club's Christmas Greening Workshops (formerly called Greening in Bay) will be held on Wednesday evening, Dec. 7, and Thursday morning and evening, Dec. 8. The workshops are held at Bay United Methodist Church, 19931 Lake Road.

Please join the Garden Club for our 34th annual hands-on workshops to create a perfect holiday decoration to adorn your home. There will be four new designs to choose from: a lighted boxwood tree, a woodland centerpiece, a wreath with a large owl, each at $35; and a large outdoor arrangement at $45. You will receive a kit brimming with fresh greens and accessories. Expert designers will walk you through a step-by-step process to create your project.

Comments from people who have previously attended our holiday workshops include: "My mother, friend and I enjoyed the workshop very much. The organization of materials was wonderful and made the creation much less stressful for those who are not creatively inclined." "We do this every year for my mom's birthday. It's a great girls night out for us." "I loved the refreshments. I got some great ideas for holiday cookies."

Previous proceeds from "Greening" enabled the Garden Club to purchase the city entrance signs, Blue Star Memorial, The Seascape and landscaping at the Gazebo, to name just a few of our civic projects.
