Blood drive in memory of Dr. Steve Meadows

Dr. Steve Meadows

There will be an American Red Cross blood drive in memory of Dr. Steve Meadows on Thursday, April 27, from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. at O'Neill Healthcare Bay Village, 605 Bradley Road.

Dr. Meadows was a loving son, brother, husband and father. He was a cherished physician in the community and a skilled ophthalmologist. Steve was diagnosed with acute leukemia and passed away from the disease less than 24 hours after his diagnosis. He received blood as part of his treatment.

This blood drive in his memory will help others in need, just as Dr. Meadows helped his patients in his daily medical practice.

Donors will need to register to participate in the blood drive. To register to donate, please go to redcrossblood.org and enter Sponsor Code "Steve" to access the registration link.
